The Network integration has Ranchi, the State Headquarters, connected with 22 District Headquarters, 35 Sub Divisional Headquarters and 212 Blocks. Apart from these Network Centers, the connectivity is also extended to 10 other offices at the State Headquarter Level, 330 other offices at the District Headquarter Level, and 70 other offices at the Sub Divisional Headquarter level.
The Network would provide Voice, Video and Data Services. Further the Network would have a single point link to Internet.
Network is built using Leased Lines of 2 Mbps capacity (expandable selectively to 8 Mbps capacity), Wireless, Optical Fibre and VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) Technologies. The implement-ation started in 1st QTR of 2006 . |
