e-Seva

The government of Andhra Pradesh has come up with an integrated single window citizen services system called e-Seva which is the first of its kind of service in the country, providing a wide spectrum of citizen friendly services that will save citizens the bother of running around various departments. e-Seva is built on the success of TWINS pilot project. There are 44 e-Seva centers (with 400 service counters) spread across the twin cities of Hyderabad-Secunderabad.

UTL has been awarded contract for the replication of e-seva in the Zone-II which covers 3 major districts of Andhra Pradesh namely, East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna.

Salient Features of e-Seva Zone-II
  • 53 e-Seva centers (with over 500 service counters) spread over 3 Districts.

  • All service counters are facilitated with an electronic queuing system.

  • It is a one-stop-shop for G2C and B2C services.

  • No jurisdiction limits - any citizen can avail the services at any of the e-Seva service centers.

Technology & Architecture

The provision of integrated services has been achieved through the use of Three-tier technology. The application server acts as a bridge between the database of the departments located in different locations and the clients at the counters in the ICSC.

 

Keeping in view of the overall plans of the state and the various projects in progress especially the AP Portal & OLTP, District head quarters has been decided as the location for the data center for all ICSCs in that particular District head quarter.
