  • Depending on the requirement the system can be a G703 – G703 system or G703 – V.35 system.

  • Modems can be connected to a computer through RS 232 port.

  • Nx64 interface for easy upgradation with investment protection.

  • 10BT / 4 PORT Switch.
64/128 Leased line modem Go top

UTL-64 is synchronous asynchronous high-speed modem operating in full duplex mode over twisted pair unconditioned telephone lines.

It has a range of 6KM at 64KBPS and operates at 64/128kbps rates.

The modem uses 2B1Q line coding, which enables efficient transmission over poor quality lines.

Transmit timing is provided internally, or derived externally from the DTE or recovered from the receive signal.

The UTL-64 features diagnostic capabilities complying with the V.54 standard to perform local and remote loop backs.

One characteristic feature inbuilt in the modem enables all the loop back options from remote end.

Modem supports interface options such as :

V.11/V.24/RS232/V.35/G.703 codirectional 64 kbps.

UTL-64 is available as stand alone type with one port per unit and rack mountable type with 8 ports per
card.

System Features

  • Easy management with LCD and keypad.

  • Remote monitoring with SNMP based Network Management system interface (NMS).

  • Field upgradable plug and play interface.

  • Supports voice data and Internet

  • Sync/Async

  • Interfaces: V.11/V.35/V.24/G.703

  • LED indicators

  • Transmission controls

  • Diagnostics in compliance with ITU V.54.

  • Cross talk Minimization through isolation transformers

  • D-type 25 pin connector, 34-pin connector, 37- pin connector for V.35 interface.

  • Terminal block type connector and RJ45 type connector for G.703 interface

  • The unit has K-20 protection and Line protection against lighting and power surges.
E1/T1 (2 Mbps) Optical Modem - UTL OPT Go top

E1/T1 fiber optic modem converts an E1/T1 electrical signal into an optical signal. Converted signal is transmitted over fiber optic cable, extending the E1/T1 service range up to 100 km (62 miles).

Supports various optical interfaces such as 850 nm for multimode fiber, 1310 nm for single or multimode fiber 1550 nm for extended range over single mode fiber.

The UTL PCE1-V.35 provides a new level of price/ performance in connecting bridges and routers to unstructured E1 G.703 2 Mbit/s leased lines.

Features

  • Transparent to E1/T1 framing (G.704).

  • Operates over single mode or multimode fibers.

  • Includes front panel LED indicators for status monitoring.

  • Fiber optic modem, extending the range of E1/T1 services over fiber optic cables up to 100 km.

  • Available as a plug-in card.

  • The modem supports activation of local and remote loop backs.

  • Clocking modes are set through a jumper setting, which allows the unit to be set up for all applications.
CDMA Go top

With CDMA, unique digital codes, rather than separate RF frequencies or channels, are used to differentiate subscribers. The codes are shared by both the mobile station (cellular phone) and the base station.

All users share the same range of radio spectrum.

Repeaters for VHF/UHF (UTL REP-450) Go top

v

Because of the nature of the propagation of the RF signals and blocks, there are blind areas or weak-signal areas for the RF signals.

v

Signal non covering areas are underground, inside a building, in streets surrounded by high buildings, remote areas, or valleys. Here the call quality deteriorates and call drops or interference happen.

Solution

Solution to the above problems is to use an Repeater/Booster

v

UTL REP-450 is used to extend the coverage area and also to increase the quality of coverage.

v
It provides the transparency between base station to non coveraged RSU.

Functionality

vDirectly receives the RF signals from the base station, amplifies and retransmits them.

v

The characteristics are simple, affordable, widely applicable, and easy to install. This is the most widely used type.

vThis type can be further divided into broadband, frequency selection, frequency shift, and micro series.
