Mr Basavapurnaiah, a commerce graduate and FCA, was instrumental in establishing N S P Electronics Limited, which manufactures Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). Prior to that he was the CEO of Rao Insulating Company, Bangalore, which is a supplier of telecom components and manufacturer of electrical stampings for rotors and motors. He along with Dr Raja Mohan Rao was instrumental in setting up of most of the group companies of the UTL Group. |
Dr. P Raja Mohan Rao (Managing Director)

Dr Raja Mohan Rao is a doctorate in Economics and was associated with National Council of Applied Economic Research as a research fellow. After education, he was involved with setting up of various companies in the telecommunications sector. He was instrumental in setting up J T Mobile, a cellular mobile telephone company in AP and Karnataka, which is now a part of AIRTEL. He also served as the President of Telecom Equipment Manufacturers Association of India during 1993-94. He is also an avid social worker actively involved in many philanthropical activities. |
Mr. C V Rao (Director R&D)

Mr. C V Rao is an Electronics Engineer from the Bangalore University. He has been involved with the telecommunications industry for the past 15 years. He is actively involved in the Research and Development activities and is responsible for the development of a number of new telecom products. |
Dr. Padma Rao (Executive Director) |
Dr. Padma Rao is a qualified Medical Doctor having obtained MD in Gynecology. She joined the Board of Directors at a time when comprehensive control in materials management, from the enquiry for procurement of materials till the materials are converted into finished products ready for dispatch, was essential. She achieved great skills in organizing supply chain management and control in production, operations and Quality Control.

Dr. C Rao Kasarabada (Group Chairman)

Dr. Rao Kasarabada holds a doctorate in Electronics Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis (USA) after completing his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the IISc, Bangalore and his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from BITS, Pilani. He worked as General Manager of R & D of ITI Ltd and was the Chairman and Managing Director of ECIL (1992-98). He has also served as the Chairman of the working group on Information Technology and the working group on Electronics in Infrastructure, Department of Electronics, Government of India. |
